Guides
How to get it running and what to get out of it.
Guides written around what people hit first. They grow as the features do.
-
Getting started
Before you first walk away from the computer
Installing the Server, pairing the phone with a QR code, a direct connection versus the Relay, and the first task for the Agent. Step by step.
-
Phone
The phone app
Five tabs, the status strip at the top and what is done where — from giving a task to previewing the app in progress.
-
Computer
The app on your computer
The same app in a window: a file tree, tabs, the Conversation at the side and a Server you start without a terminal.
-
Server
Keeping the computer awake when you leave
The Agent runs at your place. A sleeping computer means stopped work — here is the setting for macOS, Windows and Linux.
-
Approvals
Allowing work without approvals
The three degrees between “ask about everything” and “ask about nothing”, how bypass is turned on and what it gains and costs you.
-
Planning
Planning mode
The Agent writes a plan first and only touches the project once it is approved. When that pays off and when it is just a delay.
-
Tests
Tests from the phone, coverage criteria included
Six levels of tests, coverage criteria from statements to MC/DC, and why having the results on the phone is an advantage.
-
Explanations
How explaining code works
The map of what can be explained, one topic one conversation, and documents that stay in the project.
-
Git
Working with git on a phone
Branches, merging with conflicts, history and your own commit — and why there is no push or rebase.
-
Preview
How Preview of a running app works
The tunnel to localhost, the allowed ports, named targets, and what to do when Preview shows an old version of the page.
